Fire Prevention Week

October 5th through the 9th is Fire Prevention Week.  Yesterday the Covington Fire Department firefighters visited TCA Preschoolers to talk about fire safety.  Mr. Richard Griggs, Mr. Joshua Posey, Mr. Kit Burrow, and Mr. Lee Wallace all did a wonderful job explaining "stop, drop, and roll', fire detectors, and the need for each family to have a meeting place in the event of a house fire or an emergency.  Sparky the fire dog even made an appearance while we were looking at the fire truck!  Each child received a coloring book, crayons, fire badge sticker, sucker, and of course, a fire hat as goodies from the firemen.  Don't they all look cute in their hats?? :)  We had fun!
