Children Around the World

Last week, we started our study about Children Around the World.  We have talked about how there are so many children in our world and how we are all different, but that God loves us no matter what and sees us no matter where we live.  Last week, we talked about Australia.  We will continue to talk about Australia this week and then move on to another place when we come back from Easter break.  Your child designed a person that was to look like him or her.  Below you will see their work on our bulletin board in our classroom.  They are so cute!  :)

Special Reader

Mrs. Bobbie Wylie from the WMU ladies group from FBC came to read to us a couple of weeks ago when we were learning the letter P.  The WMU's adopted our classroom this year and have been so sweet.  They have given us treat box toys, pencils, sharpeners, and erasers, coloring books, and even baked cupcakes for us once.  We appreciate all they have done!  Mrs. Bobbie read us a story called "L M N O Peas".  She is a retired school teacher.  The children really enjoyed listening to hear read.  I am so sorry that I am just now posting this one.
