Farewell Jazzy Bird Friends

To each of my Jazzy Bird Friends,

You are very special little people,

And I want you to know.

How I loved being your teacher, 

Oh how fast the weeks did go!

Please come back to visit me

As through the grades you grow, 

Try hard to learn all you can 

There is so much to know!!

The one thing I tried to teach you

To last your whole life through,

Is to know that you are special

Just because you are you!

I love you all very much!  Thank you for a wonderful year!

Fun Day!

The last day of school was truly a very "Fun Day!"  The weather was perfect!  We played on the playground, danced in bubbles, wrote with sidewalk chalk, rode bikes, and had a picnic lunch.  We also had a visit from the ice cream man.  It was a great last day of PreK 4!

Hawaii

Last week we ended our school year talking about Hawaii and other Islands.  We discussed "What is an Island?".  We talked about lei's, grass skirts, flowers, the hula dance, fruit, and more.  It was a fun week!

Happy Birthday Luke!

Thursday we celebrated Luke's 5th birthday during our snack time.  Since we will not be in school on his birthday on July 11th, we decided to celebrate early with our class.  He brought us yummy cupcakes and juice pouches.  He also brought us Lightning McQueen necklaces and suckers.  Thank you for celebrating with us Luke!  Happy Early Birthday!  Hope you enjoy your birthday this summer!  :)

Happy Birthday Chase!

Today we celebrated Chase's 5th birthday during our snack time.  Since we will not be in school on his birthday on May 25th, we decided to celebrate early with our class.  He brought us yummy cupcakes!  His mom even made each child a Wild Kratts vest with an animal power disc.  The kids loved it!  Happy Early Birthday Chase!  Hope you enjoy your birthday at the end of the month!  :)
